not a CB in anyone's wildest imagination.  which is what jets fans have in great amounts.

The real question is why did Izdik not address this obvious need during the off season. Why didn't he resign Antonio Cromartie to the same contract he gave to Patterson when 95% of the people in the game thought Cromartie was better. Why didn't he offer more money to one of the top corners to make sure he signed them? He seems every year we have a huge deficiency somewhere and we hope to skate by. The question is why? Did Woody not want to spend the money, do they really believe they have enough, because personally I doubt it.

Allen won't be perfect, but I think he'll be able to handle the job.

Goodness.  Really interested in seeing how jets will handle Carr's screen passes.  Will probably be used at a premium to ease the rookie into the game.  But then again he can also launch it deep.  Really interested in seeing how much the gang will apply pressure.

Will he be taking time away from Kyle Wilson in the Nickel?

I'm not sure why I want to know what happened with Dimitri Patterson. Perhaps it's because I'm seeking closure. But I have two suspicions. First, the team's decision to insert Antonio Allen at CB upset the "pecking order" and thus upset Dimitri to the point that he quit. Second, he felt that he "fell" on the depth chart as a result of his injury, probably because he wasn't slated to start that Friday game against the Giants. OR, its a combination of the two.

Either way, I really want to know.

I am rlly interested in seeing Calvin Pryor slam the receiver to the ground after the screen pass. He goin to blow those up.

@davidus1 ... I believe there's a much bigger story... Something to do with the mob, a delivery of drugs from Miami and some hookers... We'll just have to wait for the movie to come out!!

@davidus1 Does it really matter what happened? Fact of the matter is he quit on the team and lost credibility in the locker room. The guy talked a great game but his actions on the field were less than impressive. for a change Izzy did the right thing moving on!

@davidus1 Personally think he saw the writing on the wall and walked away, then realized he blew it and made up a cover story. The fact his agent hasnt come forward to defend him at all is telling. Drew loves a camera as much as a mirror, if the Jets were at fault, he would have let the world know. I think hes done. Tough break, took a chance, didnt work out... moving on.
