Moore was someone many people had hoped/predicted the Jets would target to take part in this Summer’s “open competition” for the starting quarterback’s job. This does, however, make it less likely that David Garrard – another Jets target and someone who said yesterday that he’d be open to a return – will re-sign with the Dolphins. Miami also reportedly inked wide receiver Brian Hartline to a five-year extension for over $30m.
