My surprise cut—Jaiquawn Jarrett. He was running with the 3s on Thursday, and not looking all that good doing it. Maybe keeping Miles over him?

We need to pick up the best available veteran OL Guard, WR, and CB as insurance. Those are our weakest areas for depth.

Youre kidding me. Rex wont reveal the final cuts to Newsday?

So they have until 4pm today to put A Barnes on the PUP and if they do he wont be available until week 6. Correct?

Ravens also have a battle for the 6th WR slot. Not sure if their 7th guy is better than our 6th. Will be real interesting to see if the Jets pick up a CB off waivers as well

Ya see that piece that the revenue and circulation of the NY Post is half what is was just 5 years ago?  What does a hack like Fat Costello do when the paper is done circling the drain?

One week to go.  Looks like we get Carr.  Good for us to get rookie in his first game in the NFL and on the road.  Rex will play with his head and hopefully give our corners another week to heal up.

Well you have to cut guys to bring in new guys. Hot to be very confident that the CB WR we bring in is better than what we have

Gotta think EJ will be on a short leash with Watkins there

@jaygo I know this will never happen, but I would rather see the Post sold to competent owners (and most of the writers and editorial staff replaced) than to fold altogether. Not to go all Civics 101, but the press is an important part of a strong democracy.

@WW85 If Hill/Gates/Salas is our 4th best WR, it shouldn't be too hard to find someone at least as good.

Murdoch would never sell it though...press used to be an important part until media consolidation left only a handful of corporations in charge of all of it. Now it's anything but a tool of democracy.

The Post at one time had the greatest writers who were pro-New York no matter what.

Leonard Koppet. Milton Gross, John Lewin, Larry Merchant, Paul Zimmerman, et al.

The bills blew 2 1st rd picks on Watkins so if EJ can't get him the ball, he won't be there long starting.

@Disgruntled Jets Fan It still exposes political corruption and malfeasance that would otherwise go unnoticed. The bigger problem is that people have stopped paying attention.

This is EJs second year. Watkins has been spectacular in camp until he got injured. Watkins talent is clear. EJ has been a disaster in preseason. That is why the Bills brought in Orton. If EJ doesn't perform Orton will be slinging to Watkins real fast.

Have you seen EJ play in the pre season? Obviously if he plays well in the regular season it's another story
