If Zach Martin is still on the board at 18. You may look to  Arizona wanting to trade up to the Jets spot the last 1st round talent o-line man and if Miami thinks Arizona want to make that move Miami may also want to move up to the Jets spot. Interesting spot the Jets could have at the 18th pic.

Manish reporting Walls' deal is for two years, also.

If I'm reading the FA period rules right, FA can be contracted from 00:01 on Saturday 8th.

Does that mean that from Saturday morning details will begin to leak out eventhough the signing can't be made official until 11th?

@bob  possibly but I wonder how much we could get out of zona for just moving up two spots. It'd be nice to snake the Phins out of a tackle though

@jake100

Gil Brandt is well respected around the league......I hope he is right and we're not deluding ourselves with Geno.

@MarshRandy @bob  Wouldn't Miami be scared to pick another tackle called Martin in the same way we will forever be spooked about signing an OSU defensive player or USC quarterback?

@Brendan Obviously we'll hear F all from the media, but maybe credible reports from some of the people in the know who post on here.

There's also the process of elimination, if one team appears to have signed, say,  McCluster, it means we aren't getting him.

Or worse still, if we hear Miami have signed Howard.

@Alasdair Barratt Oh, those few days we'll hear plenty about the Jets, but that'll be coming mostly via the agents.

So far with Idzik, moves have been announced by the national media, Steiny or the team itself. I like that track record.
