When you're a perennial bad team you play for pride, when you play in high school you play for pride but when you play professionally and pride is the difference between an impact player that could change the franchise for years to come  i say screw pride and play the backups.

Its a bit long but the Ivory article is a good read.

All but 2 of the "experts" are picking the Jets to win. Of course Cimini is one of the two.

If only Kerley, Holmes and Winslow stayed healthy all year. I think we would be in the playoff hunt right now. I think the smart thing for Idzik to do is renegotiate Holmes Cromartie and Sanchez contracts and add more talent to the roster. I think this would be good for the Jets. I doubt that most people wouldn't mind having these guys here add depth to talented players coming in next year.

@jake100   The Jets have a fresh start every 2.9 years since 1969. That's average frequency with which they change coaches. How are all those fresh starts working out?

I like the fact that Keyshawn Johnson most of the time pics the Jets. The pics on ESPN pretty much come out on thurs.
