Idzik Announces Front Office Changes

Busy morning at Florham Park as John Idzik has announced his new hires in the front office. Matt Bazirgan will succeed JoJo Wooden and become the Assistant Director of Player Personnel and, as was speculated in previous weeks, Rod Graves has been named the Senior Director of Football Administration.

The Jets also have four new area college scouts including former Jets first round pick Aaron Glenn, David Boller, David Hinson, and Chris Prescott. Rich Courtright was also named NFS College Scout.

There has been a lot of concern over Idzik’s retention of Terry Bradway however, Graves’ hiring should maintain a system of checks and balances. It’s difficult to judge how these men will fair in New York but it’s safe to say that Idzik took a methodical and analytical approach when bringing in his own guys just as he has done with the roster. It’s also a nice gesture by Idzik to promote Glenn from pro-personnel assistant to area scout who has plenty of experience that should serve him well in the field.
