Jets release Tevon Conrad

12:53 p.m.: Rex Ryan told reporters that Tevon Conrad was released because he failed his physical.


The Jets announced Friday that they released offensive lineman Tevon Conrad.

Conrad, from Saginaw Valley State, had been signed as an undrafted free agent.

@a57se @Bent  Yes, by saying "I'm intrigued by his size/speed, let's see what happens, with a nice camp he could end up with a practice squad spot as a developmental guy" I was already penciling him in to Canton.  Spot on as always, 57.
