Brian Bassett, TheJetsBlog.comDom Cosentino published a doozy of a story this morning for the Star-Ledger detailing the redacted arrest reports of Kellen Winslow Jr. from November.
Not only was Winslow arrested for possession of synthetic mariijuana, but it was noted in the report that there was a notation of potential public lewdness for Winslow according to a witness who later made a written statement to police.
Rather than bother explaining it, read the article on NJ.com.
I must say, “looking for Boston Market” might win the ESPY for Best Euphemism in Sports for 2014.
As expected, a flack has published a statement on on behalf of Winslow to Twitter.
For pure comedic value alone, be sure to check the replies to the initial tweet.
If it wasn’t obvious enough that Winslow wouldn’t be back in 2014 due to his suspension for taking a banned diuretic substance and then the subsequent arrest in November, this story getting to the press will pretty much obliterate the last strands between the Jets and the veteran tight end moving forward.
