Quote: Night and day

“I tried last year, but…I was just so engulfed in trying to learn the playbook and get my stuff done and doing all the little things that it was kind of hard to develop that exact chemistry that we want … I can see it this year, like I said it’s night and day, because I can coach guys up on where I need them to be and we know exactly the schematics and the plays we want to run.”

Geno MO all his life has been a good hard working humble kid with a lot of physical talent --the only negative is he broods sometimes---most QBs tend to be like that--ask the manning bro's

I believe him, if he was polished as some other top prospect QB's, then you can argue that his ability to transition to the NFL is suspect.  Everyone knew he wasn't ready to start, that he needed to sit behind a veteran a couple of seasons but the ability and tools are there. I think though, by getting hands on last season and taking the bumps along the road, his development is going by faster. He worked out with QB guru Chris Weinke in Miami on his own time this off season. I truly believe Geno will be dangerous this season, he seems to have the mental aspect down, the physical tools were always there and has better weapons to work with.
