According to multiple reports, the Jets have placed WR Santonio Holmes on the PUP list.
The #Jets officially put WR Santonio Holmes (foot) on the PUP list today

Also on the PUP list are DT Junior Aumaveu, DE Jake McDonough, S Rontez Miles and CB Mike Edwards. Similarly, WR KJ Stroud and CB Darrin Walls were placed on the non-football injury list.
Brian Bassett, TheJetsBlog.comHolmes can come off of the PUP list at any point between now and the start of the season as soon as he is medically cleared to practice. If he isn’t removed by that time and is added to the regular season PUP list, then he must wait at least six weeks into the season to have the chance to come off. At that point, teams have a three-week window in which to allow the player to begin practicing; from the day the player begins practicing, teams have an additional three-week window in which to decide whether to activate the player to the 53-man roster. If either of those deadlines pass, the player must remain on the PUP list for the remainder of the season.
Holmes has been expecting to be back for the start of the 2013 season, but determining when he’ll be back to the practice field is sure to be a major story line now for training camp.
The rest of the group will bear watching as well. Of the other players, I was planning on keeping my eye on Rontez Miles in part because of the talent level at the safety spot.
