There’s been a few big stories about Mark Sanchez of late, but his choice of headband seems to be one of the bigger ones. While some of his teammates might anonymously wish that the Jets would “move on” from Mark Sanchez, it seems Jets center Nick Mangold wore a coif cuff in what he termed yesterday a “show of solidarity” according to Metro’s Kristian Dyer.
… it was the headband that created most of the stir, which prompted Mangold to say, “If it is good for your feet it is good for your head.”
“You know it is obviously something that is worthy of questions and most notably discussion on the topic of headwear,” Mangold said when Metro asked him about the headband. “I figured it was just a good message to put out there to make sure that it doesn’t matter what is on top of the head.”
Brian Bassett, TheJetsBlog.comIf this was a fashion blog, we’re sure this would turn into a Who Wore it Best? post, and while it still might (though it’s totes obv that Mangold wore it better) it’s good to see Mangold having some fun with the whole matter while supporting his teammate.
