The glistening scythe of NFL Football Death is very busy today.  

With the needing to fill their GM spot, and potentially their OC & DC spots as well.  Who are some candidates who could be available?  Here’s a quick rundown of what’s already transpiring this morning …

Arizona Cardinals: GM Rod Graves and HC Ken Whisenhunt have been fired.

Buffalo Bills: HC Chan Gailey was fired.

Carolina Panthers: HC Ron Rivera has yet to learn his fate.

Chicago Bears: HC Lovie Smith was fired.

Cleveland Browns: HC Pat Shurmur and General Manager Tom Heckert have been fired by the team.

Detroit Lions: GM Martin Mayhew’s fate is uncertain.

Jacksonville Jaguars: GM Gene Smith was fired and the Jags have requested an interview with Tom Gamble.  HC Mike Mularkey will be determined by new GM.

Kansas City Chiefs: HC Romeo Crennel was fired. GM Scott Pioli’s future is unknown.

Oakland Raiders: OC Greg Knapp will be fired by the team.

Philadelphia Eagles: HC Andy Reid has been fired.

San Diego Chargers: HC Norv Turner & GM A.J. Smith were fired today.
