Manuel’s stock has been rising and he’s seen by some as a potential late first round pick. The Jets would presumably consider him as a possibility with their second round pick.

Cumberland Signs Tender

Cumberland had 10 more days to seek an offer sheet from another team, but has instead agreed to sign his RFA tender and will remain under contract with the Jets for this season at $1.3m.

Peterman Leaves Without a Deal

Peterman becomes the second veteran guard to visit the Jets and leave without a deal (the other being Jake Scott). If they remain unsigned and the Jets still need a guard, the Jets will perhaps contact one of them after the draft.
